Every wall has a story. This one just took a little longer to tell.
When Keith Maynard and the team at Maynard CPA first contacted Waco Wall Printing, we designed a custom mural for their conference room. The original 4-foot by 8-foot version was beautiful, but once it was installed, everyone agreed it simply wasn’t large enough for the space or the vision behind it.
So we went back to work.
Over the next several weeks, we explored new concepts, tested different layouts, refined details, and worked through countless revisions. Like many creative projects, there were moments of trial and error, but that’s often where the best ideas are discovered.
The finished mural spans six and a half feet tall by twelve and a half feet wide and tells a uniquely personal story. It features some of Waco’s most recognizable landmarks, including the Silos Bakery, McLane Stadium, the historic Suspension Bridge, and the ALICO Building. Baylor University is prominently featured as well—a tribute to Keith’s alma mater and an important part of his journey.
The mural also incorporates the Maynard CPA office, the company logo, and one of its most meaningful elements: a tribute to Keith’s beloved dog, Jack, who spent seventeen years as a faithful companion and whose memory remains an important part of the family’s story.
In the end, that’s exactly what happened here—a mural that celebrates Waco, honors personal history, and transforms an ordinary conference room into something unforgettable.
